Nurturing the Next Generation of Engineers from Nara — Hands-on AI “Flowise” Experience Event
On August 22, 2025, at the Nara Convention Center, Genero Inc. (hereafter “Genero”) hosted a one-day internship event for students in Nara aspiring to become future engineers.
The event went beyond a simple technology workshop. Its purpose was to foster the next generation of talent and build a foundation for creating future technologies from within the region.
Hands-on Workshop with Cutting-Edge AI “Flowise”
Students participated in a practical workshop using Flowise, a state-of-the-art AI platform. Their challenge was to build a real-world–inspired human resource matching system.
Flowise is an open-source, low-code/no-code platform that allows users to visually design AI workflows. It enables rapid development of conversational applications and automation systems by integrating multiple generative AI models and external APIs. Its intuitive, visual interface makes it accessible even to beginners, while still offering the power needed for practical development.

Developing “On-the-Ground” Problem-Solving Skills
During the workshop, students worked under time constraints, discussing specifications, testing implementation methods, and repeating cycles of trial and error.
Genero’s instructors went beyond teaching simple tool usage. They emphasized real-world problem-solving processes: how to investigate issues, form hypotheses, and validate solutions. This approach allowed participants to experience how professional engineers think and act in practice.
