In the latest version, v1.51.0, KamihayaCMS introduces four key improvements to enhance content visibility and search usability.
These include enhanced color visibility, default settings for search filters, automatic display of fallback images, and improved video embedding — delivering a more comfortable and stable website management experience.
1. Improved color visibility with automatic border display
When a color defined in a field is similar to the background and becomes difficult to distinguish, a border is now automatically displayed.
This makes it easier for site users to recognize color differences, enhancing the usability of color-based filtering and search functions.
2. Configurable default state for search filters
Search filters can now be displayed with preset conditions applied by default.
For example, you can initially exclude items such as “discontinued products” or “out-of-stock items,” allowing flexible control over the initial search results.
3. Automated display of default images when none are set
When no image is assigned to a piece of content, a default image is now displayed automatically.
In addition to the existing default image feature, this update ensures stable visual presentation even when images are missing due to configuration errors.
4. Enhanced video embedding functionality
Previously, embedding external videos (e.g., from YouTube) could fail due to CDN restrictions blocking iframes.
With this update, simply entering a video URL will render the video at the same size and behavior as an iframe, enabling easier and safer addition of video content to pages.
